Summary of research
Dr Jiamin Ou is an assistant professor interested in climate and energy transition. Her work focuses on the transition towards Responsible Consumption and Production (Sustainable Development Goal 12), by studying the environmental inequality hidden in the global trade network, consumer behaviour and their diffusion via social networks. Jiamin received her PhD from the University of East Anglia (United Kingdom) in 2020.
She was a receiver of the Mikahlevich Award by International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), and was awarded the Green Talent by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) for her studies on responsible production and consumption.
