Hedy Greijdanus is working at the University of Groningen as a lecturer-researcher. Her research in social psychology revolves around protest behaviours by a diverse range of social groups, with a special focus on online behaviour and on functions of humour in collective action.

Human cognitions and behaviour. What motivates people? Which factors influence what we think and do? What are the relations between online and offline behaviour? And how does humour affect people's perceptions and behaviour?
