We are delighted to share that Dr. Jan-Willem Romeijn, SCOOP Senior, has been awarded a Vici Grant!
Dr. Romeijn was awarded a grant worth €1.5 million, and will investigate how psychology and psychiatry's increasing use of data science methods can be applied using insights from the philosophy of science. This innovative research combines a mathematical understanding of the methods with knowledge of the scientific context in which these methods are applied, for instance psychopathology. The result is a practice-oriented epistemology that supports a more accurate use of data science methods.
