Symposia and Conferences
Both small-scale symposia and major international scientific conferences will be organized. The small-scale symposia will be on specific topics (WP level) and take place twice a year. Both scientists and policy makers are invited. The biennial International SCOOP Conference addresses the full range of the SCOOP program, including its policy implications. In addition, also discipline-based conferences featuring aspects of the SCOOP program will be organized.
There are already three conferences scheduled:
- Conference of the International Association for the Study of the Commons (IASC), 10-14 July 2017, in Utrecht, where ca. 800 participants are expected from around the globe (chaired by de Moor).
- Conference by the World Interdisciplinary Network for Institutional Research (WINIR), 14-17 September, 2017, Utrecht (chaired by van Bavel).
- Conference by the International Network for Social Network Analysis (INSNA), Utrecht, June 2018 (Wittek and Flache are members of the organizing committee).
